Reports from Mudug region say that today the Somali National Army with the help of the local population launched a multi-directional attack on Al-Shabaab in the region.
The army took control of the group’s militia in the area of ​​Harardhere in the south of Mudug region.
The news adds that the two have separated themselves from each other in the areas of Barag-Hurdaye and Miroon, where a face-to-face battle is still going on.
The local people also told us that heavy bombings are going on in parallel with the operations in the outskirts of Harardhere district in Mudug region.
We do not yet know the official casualties resulting from the attack by the allied forces and the subsequent war, and the situation is very tense.
Officials of the Somali National Army said that they are continuing their operation, and their aim is to liberate Al-Shabaab from the area.
